Does not workOct 05, 2011

I had high hopes for this item. I had been using a metal flex-tube lint catcher and it worked great, but I wanted to have a product that I didn't have to replace periodically. Unfortunately, this lint catcher doesn't catch any lint. It has been a month and there are miniscule amounts in the catcher, while the sink catcher has a lot of lint clogging it. This item will be going in the garbage as it's past the return date. Disappointing to say the least.

... nice idea... ineffectiveApr 27, 2011

Installed lint trap and ran washer. The trap caught a few pieces of lint, but there was more lint left in the sink drain strainer than in the lint trap.

Nice concept but inefficient...Dec 20, 2011
Got it at double of the price it's been sold for today! I got what it paid for back then I don't want to know what you will get for 1/2 of the price.
It looked like a good idea for a simple problem but...lack of engineering. The product is made of cheap easy breakable plastic. The strainer doesn't fit properly into the trap. The trap area it self it is larger than the strainer so as a result the lint escapes easily. I returned it!!!

Sort of workedMar 27, 2011
I had hopes that this product would replace all those mess lint traps I was buying, but this device doesn't seem to catch as much lint as the mess traps. It caught some, but I am convinced much of the lint flowed over / around the bristles and escaped down the drain. This may work best with towels and items that cause a tremendous amount of lint. I think the idea is basically good, but may need a bit more tweaking.

gets the larger lint, hair, debrisNov 06, 2011
The mesh traps work better at catching the really fine lint, but they have to be replaced often. This trap does a good job of catching the larger chunks of lint, and hair, bits of stuff, etc. I will continue to use it, as even catching only part of the lint will help to keep my drain open.
