good idea but not designed for long-term useNov 18, 2009
By yc Have had these about a year of regular use (several times a week). Really like using these for the easy retrieval of a single size (as opposed to sets with rings) and double ends (good for dry and liquid for the same recipe). Also liked that it offered 1/2 tablespoon, which is not common. Unfortunately though, the metal is a little flimsy and one of the center plastic/magnet housings has come off. Also the measurements are just printed on and have started to rub off. Would have given these a higher rating if they had actually been made to last.

Measuring fun for everyoneJan 26, 2009
By Zack Davisson I was looking to upgrade my measuring spoons recently, and this innovative set caught my eye. Sometimes jumbling around a bunch of spoons on a ring can be a pain, so the idea of having them magnetically attached seemed like a great idea. The other features, such as having a bowl end and a narrow end, as well as having the measurements in both standard Tbsp/tsp and ml, were a nice bonus.
I have used this set for a few months now, and I am definitely happy with it. The magnets cling together well, and the whole set stays together easily. I have come to appreciate having the narrower end to dig into spice containers as well as having a clean bowl of the same size I just used.
The only drawbacks are the stainless steel isn't as solid as I was hoping. You could easily bend these measuring spoons with your hands. Also, the magnets are strong enough to hold the set together, but not strong enough to attach to a refrigerator or anything like that. I was kind of hoping to save some space by sticking them on my fridge, but no such luck. Also, the magnets can attach themselves to unintended items, like a set of measuring cups.
It is not big deal, and these are really only minor annoyances. All in all these are a great set of measuring spoons and I would happily buy them again!

Terrific Measuring Spoons!Jan 19, 2009
By lawprof We probably own five sets of measuring spoons, and this set is the one that gets used the most. Solidly constructed, easy to read, and easy to store, these spoons exceeded our expectations. Other sets use clips or rings to hold the spoons together; the clips and rings inevitably disappear, break, or are just plain cumbersome to use. Here, the magic of magnetism holds these babies together; as a result, we can always find the entire set, and we can easily use just one and replace it after washing. Having two different "bowls" on each spoon is an added bonus. Perfect!

Love these.Sep 27, 2009
By Nana2Livi I use these all the time. I can keep them together easily and I never have to dig through the drawer to find the one missing. I wish it had a 1/8 teaspoon size included though.

nice spoons but came apartJul 26, 2011
By j.e. I really like the feel and heft of these spoons. However, after about 1 year of use, the plastic/magnet part came off one of the spoons. I haven't tried to glue it yet.
